Environmental Sustainability

Contributing to a more Sustainable World

By driving sustainable initiatives through our own operations and by supporting our clients we are working to build a more resilient and sustainable future globally.

Sustainability is a core part of our commitment to become the world's most progressive law firm and is discussed at Board level and supported across all levels of the firm. It is important to our clients and our people that we drive sustainable growth; transform our economy; and adapt and demonstrate sustainable ways in how we operate and in the services we deliver to our clients. We embrace and look for new initiatives in managing our supply chain, reducing resource consumption and setting ambitious environmental and net zero carbon emissions reduction targets.

As a global firm it is our responsibility to advocate sustainability within our industry, communities and with our clients. We are longstanding members of theNet Zero Lawyers Alliance,Legal Sustainability Allianceand theAustralian Legal Sector Alliance- inclusive movements of law firms in the UK and Australia. Working with our peers, we look to improve the environmental sustainability of our operations and activities across the legal sector.

We actively contribute to industry initiatives including the Climate Bonds Initiative, ICMA, LMA and APLMA, the GII and the UKGBC. Through these contributions we remain at the front of understanding and working with clients in how sustainability is reshaping the business ecosystem globally.
