Ben specialises in listed company takeovers, schemes of arrangement, private M&A and equity capital raisings, acting for corporate, private equity and investment banking clients.
Ben has advised on a variety of significant and complex corporate transactions across a number of sectors including mining, energy, telecommunications and media, and technology. His strong transaction focus has seen him involved in many high profile matters in Australia and globally including in Africa, India and the UK/Europe.
Prior to joining Ashurst, Ben worked at Davis Polk and Wardwell in London where he advised on a number of significant cross-border transactions, including advising Comcast Corporation on its successful £30.6 billion competitive takeover offer for Sky plc, and Reliance Industries Limited on the unprecedented series of capital raisings from world leading strategic and financial investors amounting to over US 20 billion in investments into Jio Platforms Limited.
