Galina advises institutional investors on loan products; her practice focuses both on project finance (in particular, financing transport infrastructure and industrial projects) and leveraged finance.
Prior to joining Ashurst, Galina worked as an associate in the Banking & Finance practice group of another international, UK-based law firm in Frankfurt am Main as well as a trainee at a leading German Bank, the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (Securities Supervison & Regulation) and a US-based international law firm with focus on debt and equity capital markets.
Galina studied at the Goethe University of Frankfurt am Main, holds a doctorate in law from Heidelberg University and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Cornell Law School.
