Morgan is a Partner in the Strategic Advisory group at Ashurst with particular expertise in legal-led managed services and complex disputes.
Morgan is a leader of Ashurst's managed services offering, and has specialist expertise in advising on, designing, building and operating managed services. She is known for managing matters with a blend of legal, consulting and “New Law” delivery skills, including driving efficiencies through initiatives to re-design, standardise, automate and optimise legal and business processes, particularly processes to meet regulatory obligations. She works closely in collaboration with Ashurst Consulting and Ashurst Advance to deliver legal-led managed services for clients.
Morgan also has significant experience in regulatory investigations and disputes, compliance investigations and commercial disputes, and acts for a wide range of clients, including in the financial services, energy and resources and utilities sectors. She has a specific focus on regulatory investigations and enforcement in the financial services sector. Morgan was part of the senior leadership team acting for ANZ in the Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services Industry. She has acted for ADIs, credit licensees and FinTechs on a range of ASIC investigations, proceedings and industry reviews.
Morgan also has a deep understanding of business operations and regulatory compliance, having spent 2.5 years as Operations Manager and Legal Counsel in a vocational education and training business, overseeing the operations, legal and regulatory compliance functions.
