Tony is a partner in Ashurst Risk, providing services under the Risk Advisory brand. He leads our work health and safety (WHS) risk capability.
Tony is an expert in health, safety and wellbeing, employment and investigations, with over 24 years of experience in reputational risk and consulting. His experience includes advising on the future of health and safety regulation, engaging the workforce, and reskilling agile working models. Tony provides end-to-end consulting and advisory services, ranging from major WHS system improvement and redesign to premium transformation projects with solutions that include WHS technology, analytics, systems, investigations, assessments and training through to safety leadership, culture and cognitive health programs.
Prior to joining Ashurst Risk Advisory, Tony was a Risk Advisory Partner at a Big 4 professional services firm, and before that, he co-founded and directed The Brief Group (2000-2013). The Brief Group was a WHS consultancy blending both legal and practical experience, focused on safety compliance and the design of management systems and processes, along with training aimed at building and maintaining sustainable businesses. Tony has also been employed as a Senior Litigation Lawyer for the Safety Regulator (then WorkCover NSW), Police Prosecutor and Detective in the NSW Police Force.
