Braeden Donnelly named as Financial News Rising Star of Legal Services 2023

    London-based private equity partnerBraeden Donnellyhas been listed as one of Financial News Rising Stars of Legal Services for 2023.

    The Rising Stars list recognises up-and-coming talent in the European legal sector at a time of unprecedented change for the sector.

    Braeden is an experienced private equity lawyer who advises on a wide range of UK and multi-jurisdictional private equity transactions including mergers and acquisitions, public to private transactions, disposals, buy outs and complex sponsor lead restructurings.

    In the last year, significant mandates Braeden has led on include advising Diamond Generating Europe Limited (a wholly owned, indirect subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation) on its sale of the entire issued share capital in Diamond Generating Europe Investments Limited, which indirectly holds a 16.67% stake in the Moray East offshore windfarm, to INPEX Renewable Energy Europe Limited; advising Amalfi Bidco (a newco incorporated by a private equity backed bidding consortium) on its £870 million cash and share acquisition of CareTech; and advising Axiom Equity Partners LLP on the acquisition of leading software businesses Akixi Limited and JobLogic. In 2021 Braeden was recognised as one of Law.com International's Private Equity Rising Stars, and is also currently ranked amongst the top five private equity deal makers by MergerLinks.
