Pro Bono

We ground our pro bono practice in the ethics of professional responsibility

We consider pro bono as a stand-alone legal practice.

This results in quality legal services for our pro bono clients, provided in accordance with our established pro bono criteria.

Our global pro bono practice has four priority areas including: Citizenship & Displacement; Gender Rights & Diversity; Modern Slavery; and Racial Justice.

We firmly believe that responding to the climate crisis and strengthening climate justice is of critical importance, and our work in this space cuts across all four priority areas.

Our pro bono team also has expertise in law reform and the role pro bono can play in responding to crises.

"We believe all individuals should be able to have access to the legal system to protect or assert their rights, irrespective of their financial situation. This belief is at the heart of our global pro bono practice, ensuring that we focus our efforts where access might otherwise be denied."
