Ashurst further strengthens International Arbitration practice with senior partner hire in London

    Global law firm Ashurst has hired international arbitration practitioner Philip Chong as a partner based in London, as the firm continues to invest in and expand its international arbitration offering.

    Philip Chong joins from DLA Piper, where he has been partner since 2006 and most recently head of the International Arbitration Practice for Europe for the last six years. His practice focuses on energy and infrastructure disputes as well as engineering and technical matters. Philip will join Ashurst in September 2023.

    The hire follows a series of recent appointments, includingArne Fuchswho joined the firm last year to lead Ashurst's public international law and investment arbitration practice.
